The Stark Differences Between Project 2025 and My Equality 2024 Campaign
As the 2024 election cycle unfolds, voters are being presented with starkly different visions for
America’s future. One of the more prominent plans making headlines is Project 2025, a conservative policy blueprint aimed at fundamentally reshaping government and its role in society, particularly if a Republican president takes office in 2025. In contrast, my Equality 2024 campaign offers an entirely different path forward, one centered on compassion, equality, and humane governance.
Here’s a breakdown of the key differences between Project 2025 and my platform, and what they mean for America.
Environmental Policies: Dismantling vs. Stewardship
At the heart of Project 2025 is a push to roll back federal environmental regulations, a move that would weaken or eliminate agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Proponents of the project argue that this will cut bureaucratic red tape and boost industries, but at what cost? Rolling back climate protections will have devastating effects on our planet, accelerating the climate crisis and compromising the health of future generations.
On the other hand, my Equality 2024 campaign emphasizes the urgent need for environmental
stewardship. We cannot afford to put profits over the planet. Protecting our environment through
rigorous regulations, promoting renewable energy, and addressing climate change head-on are central to my platform. We need leaders who will safeguard our natural resources, not deplete them for short-term gains.
Civil Rights and Social Justice: Rollbacks vs. Progress
Project 2025 calls for limiting federal government involvement in civil rights issues, potentially rolling back protections for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive rights. Under this vision, issues like equality, justice, and bodily autonomy could take a backseat to conservative ideals of smaller government and individual responsibility.
In sharp contrast, my campaign stands for equality for all. I am committed to passing the Equal Rights Amendment 2 to enshrine gender equality in our Constitution, ensuring that no one’s rights are denied based on sex. I am also passionate about restoring Roe v. Wade and protecting reproductive freedoms under the banner of My Body, My Choice. This isn’t just about laws—it’s about human dignity, autonomy, and justice for every person, regardless of their race, gender, or sexual orientation.
Animal Rights: Factory Farms vs. Humane Farming
When it comes to the treatment of animals, Project 2025 makes no effort to address the catastrophic impact of factory farming on both the environment and the lives of animals. Deregulation efforts within the project would likely favor big agricultural interests that continue to exploit animals for profit.
In sharp contrast, Equality 2024 is deeply committed to animal welfare. Factory farming is not only cruel, but it also has profound negative impacts on our environment. My platform advocates for sweeping reforms in farming practices, including an end to factory farming and the development of sustainable, humane alternatives. Animals deserve to live without suffering, and we have a responsibility to make that vision
a reality.
Governmental Structure and Transparency: Power Grab vs. Accountability
A key goal of Project 2025 is consolidating executive power and reducing the size of the federal
government. While this may appeal to those who believe in limited government, there is a risk that these moves will undermine transparency, accountability, and checks and balances.
In my vision for Equality 2024, the government serves the people, not itself. I believe in a transparent, accountable government that engages with citizens and ensures that their voices are heard. Shrinking the government at the expense of its ability to function effectively will only lead to more inequality and division. My goal is to create a more participatory and equitable system of governance that ensures justice and fairness for all.
Healthcare and Public Welfare: Privatization vs. Access for All
Project 2025 seeks to privatize many aspects of healthcare and reduce government involvement in welfare programs. While supporters argue this will promote efficiency and reduce costs, in reality, it could leave millions without adequate care, particularly in underserved and vulnerable communities.
My campaign takes the opposite approach. Equality 2024 is about ensuring accessible healthcare for everyone, particularly reproductive healthcare. Healthcare is a basic human right, and no one should be denied treatment because of their income, gender, or geographic location. I also support strengthening welfare programs to protect those who need it most, including the disabled, the elderly, and the economically disadvantaged.
Conclusion: Compassion vs. Constriction
The differences between Project 2025 and Equality 2024 could not be more pronounced. While Project 2025 envisions a country where government takes a backseat to corporate interests, my platform prioritizes the well-being of people, animals, and the planet. This election is not just about policies—it’s about the kind of country we want to live in. Do we want a future defined by deregulation and disenfranchisement, or one built on compassion, equality, and sustainability?
As you head to the polls, I encourage you to choose a future where everyone is treated with dignity, where the environment is protected, and where equality isn’t just a promise—it’s a reality. Equality2024 is about ensuring that all of us, regardless of our background, have the opportunity to thrive in a humane and just society.
